Since 1992\, she has led JA’s efforts to ensure that our region’s youth are inspired and prepared to succeed in a global economy by delivering sequenced and scalable learning experiences that focus on financial literacy\, entrepreneurship\, and work and career readiness. \nIn 2022\, Robin led the groundbreaking effort to build the JA Free Enterprise Center in Greenwood Village\, a 27\,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility that is home to the Daniels Fund JA Dream Accelerator and Robert and Judi Newman JA Finance Park. \nOver her career\, Robin has engaged hundreds of thousands of educators\, donors\, and volunteers to act on behalf of our young people. She has extensive committee and board service and currently serves on the board of directors for the Common Sense Institute. DESCRIPTION:The guest speaker is Congressional District 6 candidate John Fabbricatore who will be discussing National Security and the Border \nWatch his congressional testimony here: https://www.congress.gov/118/meeting/house/116200/witnesses/HHRG-118-JU01-Wstate-FabbricatoreJ-20230713.pdf \nJohn is a United States Air Force veteran and recently retired after more than 30 years of service with the United States government in a federal law enforcement capacity\, spending the last 23 years with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)\, most recently as a member of the Senior Executive Service and as the Field Office Director for the states of Colorado and Wyoming. \nHe has led multi-agency joint task forces related to enforcing immigration law and spent many years locating criminal alien fugitives\, arresting illegal alien sex offenders\, and combating heroin and fentanyl trafficking. He also served as a Deputy Chief of Staff for Joint Task Force West\, a multi-agency\, cross-corridor operation at the federal\, state\, local\, tribal\, and international levels to disrupt Transnational Criminal Organizations. \nAdditionally\, he was detailed to Washington\, D.C. to work in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Operations section as the Director of Independent Departure for Task Force Operation Allies Welcome (OAW)\, which was set up to address the Afghanistan refugee crisis. \nIn July 2023 John Fabbricatore testified in front of Congress at the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity\, Security\, and Enforcement. His testimony focused on The Consequences of Criminal Illegal Aliens on U.S. Communities. John Fabbricatore was awarded the Secretary’s Homeland Security SILVER Medal for Meritorious Service.
